Using WebHelp - Offline and Online

This format of the AE documentation requires a Web browser. Double-clicking the HELP.HTM file will display the AE documentation in your default browser.

The Automation Engine Documentation is displayed in the form of individual HTML pages. You can:

Contents

The Contents tab contains the contents of the AE documentation in a tree-view of the directory structure. It includes all the individual books that can be opened and contain further books or documents.

Click on a book to open or close it. A click on a document in the TOC displays its contents in the browser window.

If you click on a hyperlink that is shown in a document, the new document displays in a browser window. The TOC also shows the position where the open document is available.

Searching

You can search through the entire documentation using the search field in the top right-hand corner of the WebHelp. Enter one or more search terms in the field and start the search either by clicking the magnifying glass icon or using the Enter key. The search results are displayed in a separate document.

Printing

It is possible to print individual pages from a book. Display the document you want to print and click the Print button in the bar at the top.

Glossary

All terms from the index are listed in the Index tab in alphabetical order. Click any term in the index and its definition will be displayed directly below. If you click again, the description will disappear. It is also possible to open the description of more than one term within the index at the same time.
