General Introduction

Process Analytics can be used to analyze tasks.

You can easily analyze your tasks by using the following functions:

  • Depiction of historical, active and scheduled tasks.

  • Filtering of Schedules and Period Containers.

  • Precise and quick navigation through AE data.

  • Analysis of time slots in various sizes through multi-stage zooming.

  • Clear structure of tasks according to a positioning policy.

  • Tooltip texts provide short information about displayed tasks.

  • Detailed information about the displayed tasks in the info box.

  • Clear depiction of dependencies between tasks.

  • Complex task filtering.

  • Critical path depiction of tasks that are responsible for a delay.

By using the above functions, Process Analytics allows you to retrieve information about tasks that have been processed by the AE system.
For example:

  • Analysis of tasks that have already ended.
When did tasks start or end? Which tasks were canceled?

  • Retrieval of active tasks.
What progress has been made so far? When will a particular task probably end?

  • Time planning of scheduled tasks.
Which tasks are scheduled to be executed and until when should they be finished?

  • Estimation of scheduled tasks.
Taking past runtimes into account, when will the scheduled task probably be finished?

  • Interferences between processed tasks.
Which tasks depend on others? Which tasks were responsible for a delay or cancelation?
