Setting Up an SMC File
The following document describes the Service Manager's SMC file structure. This command file starts services and agents automatically, as needed.
The SMC file contains a list of Automation Engine services. Each service is displayed in two lines. The first line describes the number of seconds to be waited until the corresponding service starts. The second line contains the name of the service.
Note: This file is automatically created and adjusted when you install or modify the ServiceManager dialog program. No manual intervention is required.
Syntax
WAIT Waiting time in seconds during which startup is delayed.
CREATE Name of the Automation Engine service
Example
If the service appears in the first line of the dialog program, the indicated value is the waiting time for the start of the first service after the ServiceManager has been activated. In other cases, it represents the time lag until the service that is listed in the line above it has started.
