Connection Color

When you login to a Client, you open a connection to the Automation Engine. On the login dialog you can select the color that you want to assign to the current connection. This color is used in the horizontal bar at the top of the page and in the icon in the browser tab. All windows and tabs that belong to a connection use the same color (the connection color). You have several windows opened for one connection if, for example, you select several objects and do one of the following:

Press Ctrl and double-click simultaneously
Middle-click

After logging into the Automic Web Interface, you can change the connection color in the session and user settings dropdown list on the right corner of the menu bar.

Note: Your system administrator can configure the colors that are available for selection and the name of the colors. For more information, see colors.properties.
