Create Directory Command Settings
The Create Directory command creates a directory. It is only possible to create one directory at a time. It is not possible to create a hierarchy of directories at the same time. To create additional directories below this one, add additional Create Directory command(s) to the command sequence.
To Create a Directory
-
In From/To select the Connection objects that connect to the source and destination hosts.
-
Drag the Change Directory command from the left pane and drop it onto the editor in the middle.
-
In Path, select a connection object. The only two objects available here are the ones that you have selected in the From and To fields at the top of the FTP Job definition page, above the editor.
Click the browse icon to open a dialog where you can search for a file or directory on the host. For more information, see Browsing to Directories and Files.
-
In Path, specify the absolute or relative path where you want to create the directory.
-
If you do not want the Job to abort if this command fails, deselect the Abort job on command failure option.
-
Optionally add a description of the command under Description. The text you enter here is not written to the Job report. To write a message to the Job report, use an Echo command. For more information, see Echo Command Settings.
