Create Directory Command Settings

The Create Directory command creates a directory.

To create a directory:

  1. Select a connection under Path.
  2. The only two selectable hosts in the drop-down list are the hosts selected in the file browsers.

You can browse to a directory using the browse icon. When you click it, a pop-up dialog opens that allows you to browse to a directory on the host. For more information, see Browsing to Directories and Files.

  3. Specify an absolute or relative path using the Path field.
  4. If you do not want the Job to abort if this command fails, uncheck the Abort job on command failure box.
  5. Optionally add a description of the command under Description.
  6. The Description field acts as comment in the command sequence, and is not written to the Job report. To write a message to the Job report use an Echo command .

It is only possible to create one directory at a time. It is not possible to create a hierarchy of directories at the same time. To create additional directories below this one, add additional Create Directory command(s) to the command sequence.
