Overview of Main Tabs

Automic Automation Intelligence has five main user interface tabs:

Analysis

After a jobstream has been defined to Automic Automation Intelligence, you can instantly view its historical runtime data in the Analysis Tab, selected by using the Analysis tab at the top middle of the console. The following are descriptions of the purposes and functions of the icons, options, and views available in the Analysis Tab.

Monitoring

Provides a view of Completed, Running, and Forecasted jobstream runs at the jobstream level. The Monitoring view can be customized using the jobstream Filter Options dialog. In addition, users can create multiple customized views by creating more tabs within the panel. All settings will be saved on exit so each time the user logs in the client will appear as they last saved it. The tab can be detached by selecting the arrow icon located on the upper-right corner of the tab. To reinsert the detached window, simply close it or select the arrow icon on the window. Alternatively, you can select pop all windows back in from the main menu. For a detailed description, see Monitoring Tab.

Dashboard

Provides a view of Completed, Running, and Forecasted jobstream runs rolled up to the Business Area level. The tab consists of three sections: summary, bar graphs, and grid. The Dashboard view can be customized using the Business Area Roll-up Filter Options dialog. In addition, users can create multiple customized views by creating additional tabs within the panel. All settings will be saved so that each time the user logs in the client will appear as they last exited. The tab can be detached by selecting the arrow icon located on the upper-right corner of the tab. To reinsert the detached window, simply close it or select the arrow icon on the window. Reporting

Provides a list of report templates that can be run as is or customized. These reports can be created and saved by the user. The tab can be detached by selecting the arrow icon located on the upper-right corner of the tab. To reinsert the detached window, simply close it or select the arrow icon on the window. Alternatively, you can select pop all windows back in from the main menu. For a detailed description, see Reporting Tab.

Admin

Provides all available administration functions to manage the objects in Automic Automation Intelligence; schedulers, jobstreams, Business Areas, users, and custom actions. The tab can be detached by selecting the arrow icon located on the upper-right corner of the tab. To reinsert the detached window, simply close it or select the arrow icon on the window. Alternatively, you can select pop all windows back in from the main menu. For a detailed description, see Admin Tab

Note: Each tab can be detached or popped out as its own window except for the Analysis Tab. The Analysis Tab allows the user to pop out the current jobstream run Gantt chart.
