Setting the Time Zone

The time zone of the schedulers that AAI monitors might not necessarily be located in the same time zone in which your AAI instance is installed. By default, AAI displays all times that relate to a specific scheduler (jobs and their jobstreams) in the time zone that is defined in that particular scheduler. The times that do not relate to a specific scheduler are displayed in the time zone that you select in the Preferences dialog.

To Set the Time Zone

Go to File > Preferences.
On the Preferences dialog the Time Zone tab is displayed by default.
In Scheduler-specific dates/times you have two options:
- Use scheduler's time zone when applicable (default). If selected, the following applies:
  - Jobstream dates and times are displayed in the scheduler's time zone.
  - Your preferred time zone will only be used in the following: As Of Time (Monitoring panel), alert times, business area cycle filtering and user login times.
- Always use preferred time zone
  
  Your preferred time zone is used everywhere.
In Preferred time zone select an entry from the list. If you do not see the one you need, select Show all time zones to expand the list.
Click OK. This setting is stored in your user settings.
