Jobstream Summary Report

The Jobstream Summary report is designed to provide statistics on the runs of one or more entire jobstreams, for a particular date or a range of dates.

The default values for the Jobstream Summary Report are as follows:

  • Report Name: Ad Hoc denotes the template and its defaults. The Ad Hoc report can be used as a basis of other saved (custom reports) by clicking the New report criteria or Duplicate report icon located on the Report Types toolbar.

  • Time Zone: The time zone is used when grouping runs by date and for formatting all times and dates in the report. By default, this is the time zone of the user's computer. However, the time zone(s) can be changed within the report definition.

  • Output Format: PDF, HTML, XML, or CSV.

  • GroupedBy: Date (jobstream runs are grouped into a table for each date). If Jobstream is selected, all the runs for each jobstream will be grouped into a table.

  • Sorted by: Jobstream (field that each table in the report is sorted by).

  • Completed Runs: Completed (Edit Dates Within a Date Range or Days of the Week and Specific Dates), In-Progress, and Forecasted.

  • Runs In Progress: Jobstream runs In Progress.

  • Forecasted Runs: In the next specified number of hours, Show Only Next Forecasted Run.

  • Statuses: NPTF, Late, On-Time, Early, and Other.

All available columns are selected by default and can be changed by accessing the Columns tab of the Edit Summary Report Criteria dialog.

All of the default values can be changed and saved for the Ad Hoc reports. Select the values that you want to display on the Edit Summary Report Criteria dialog and click OK. Those values will now become the defaults of the Ad Hoc Summary Report. These values will remain the default until the user session is restarted.

Tip: The Jobstream Summary report is an excellent Service Level Agreement (SLA) report because it specifically details how a particular jobstream did against its defined late criterion, that is, its expected or agreed to running time versus its actual running time.
