Types of Alerts

There are several types of System Alerts that can be sent from :

  1. Memory Usage: This alert will be sent when the memory usage has exceeded the threshold set in the Configuration Tool.

  2. Automic Automation Intelligence DB Connection Failure: This alert informs when the connection to the Automic Automation Intelligence the database has failed.

  3. Automic Automation Intelligence DB Connection Restored: This alert informs when the connection to the Automic Automation Intelligence database has been restored.

  4. Jammer Late: This alert informs when a scheduler's jammer is late as determined in the Interval tab of the Configuration Tool. When this alert is selected, it will create a unique alert for every scheduler that has a late Jammer.

  5. Jammer Back on Track: This alert informs when a scheduler's Jammer was late but has now run. When this alert is selected, it will create a unique alert for every scheduler that was late but has now run.

  6. Event Processing Delay: This alert informs when a scheduler's event processing is delayed as determined by the parameter eventProcessingDelayWarningThreshold in the Configuration Tool. When this alert is selected, it will create a unique alert for every scheduler that has delayed event processing.

  7. Event Processing Back on Track: This alert informs when a scheduler's event processing was delayed but has now run. When this alert is selected, it will create a unique alert for every scheduler that had event processing delayed but has now run.

  8. Converter Late: This alert informs when a scheduler's Converter is late as determined in the Interval tab of the Configuration Tool. When this alert is selected, it will create a unique alert for every scheduler that has a late Converter.

    Note: Tidal schedulers will not generate these alerts. Due to their incremental converter, this alert is equivalent to the Jammer Late alert.
  9. Converter Back on Track: This alert informs when a scheduler's Converter was late but has now run. When this alert is selected, it will create a unique alert for every scheduler that was late but has now run.

  10. Statistics Generator Late: This alert informs when the Statistics Generator is late as determined in the Interval tab of the Configuration Tool.

  11. Statistics Generator Back on Track: This alert informs when the Statistics Generator was late but has now run.

  12. New Candidate (AutoSys/CA7): This alert informs when an AutoSys or a CA7 job becomes a candidate for a Custom Start Time Condition (CSTC).

  13. Non Candidate with CSTC (AutoSys/CA7): This alert informs when an AutoSys or a CA7 job with a Custom Start Time Condition (CSTC) became a non-candidate because a visible start condition is detected for the job.

  14. Server Restart Required: This alert informs when a server restart is required.

  15. Long-Running Prediction Terminated: This alert will be sent when a prediction runs longer than the allowable length of time.
