Limitations of Killing Jobs

Since running tasks cannot be killed in Business Objects, issuing a Kill command from Explorer in Applications Manager or the Activities dialog in Automation Engine has no effect on tasks. Issuing a kill command against an RA Business Objects Agent task could change its viewable status. Therefore, we advise that you do not issue kill commands against RA Business Objects Agent Jobs, because tasks will not be killed and their status could be misleading.
