This document guides you through the new installation of a CallAPI for GCOS8.
AE also supplies a CallAPI for GCOS8. This interface is used to execute calls in AE from your own programs, which can be written in programming languages such as C and COBOL, for example. Additionally, the utility ucxbgc8c is available, and can be called from within a job, for example.
The files that belong to the CallAPI are found in a sub-directory of IMAGE:CALLAPI\GCOS8.
