This procedure restores the directory to its previous status before the task has run.
Backup
In a file-based rollback process, the system copies the task's files, which are stored in the backup folder back to the directory that is specified in the Rollback tab.
A directory or certain files must be specified in the Rollback Page of the object using the AE Desktop Client.
To allow running a rollback process, you must activate the option Enable Rollback in the General Tab.
Sub-folders will be deleted only if the option Include sub-directories is active.
Rollback
The rollback restores directories or files.
The option delete before restore enforces that the content of the original directory that was used to create a backup will be deleted before the backup folder is restored. This ensures that the destination directory is empty before the files are copied from the backup folder and avoids potential errors.
Start Rollback
While the file-based rollback process is running, the task has the status "File Rollback". After a successful rollback process, the task obtains the end status ENDED_ROLLBACKED.If an error occurs during the run, the task aborts with the status FAULT_FILE_ROLLBACK.
