Extended Reports

The Automation Engine has a comprehensive auditing functionality that includes the possibility to produce extended reports for executable objects in addition to the standard ones.

Extended reports provide additional information to the Script, JCL and Object Access regular reports.

When defining the general settings of an executable object, you also specify whether extended reports should be created when executing it. When configuring your system, the administrator can write specifications in the UC_CLIENT_SETTINGS variable that determine whether or not they should be created. If so, this variable also determines which reports should be created. This applies client-wide. section of the object General page:

However, you can specify different settings for individual objects, namely, whether all or no extended reports should be generated. If you do so, these settings overrule the definitions in the UC_CLIENT_SETTINGS variable.
