Setting the Report Parameters in Objects

Comprehensive standard reports are provided without your having to set anything in particular. For Job objects two additional possibilities are available, namely extended and external output reports. We explain here the settings you must configure to generate and access them.

Extended Report Settings

in the UC_CLIENT_SETTINGS - Various Client Settings variable, where you determine whether extended reports will be created and, if so, which ones. This applies client-wide.
when creating objects in the Extended Reports section on the General Page, for example:

Here you specify different settings for individual objects, namely, whether all or no extended reports should be generated. If you do so, these settings overrule the definitions in the UC_CLIENT_SETTINGS variable

External Report Settings

You must register them either

using the :REGISTER_OUTPUTFILE script element.
