Introducing Automic Automation

This release introduces the Automic Automation solution, which combines the capabilities of the previous Automic Workload Automation (AWA) and Automic Service Orchestration (ASO) into a single product. By downloading and installing Automic Automation or upgrading your current AWA, you will have all the following capabilities:

• Full access (with a valid CA/Broadcom account) to the following offerings on our marketplace at https://marketplace.automic.com/:

  • All action packs

  • The new Infrastructure Manager, an environment provisioning extension for the Automic system

• Event-processing capabilities through the Event Engine

• Self-service capabilities through the Automic Service Connector for ServiceNow and the CA Service Catalog Plug‑in

• Access to Vara to Chart functionality in Analytics

  Note: Excluded are special for-charge solutions such as CD for Siebel, Temenos CD and Automic Automation (formerly AWA) solutions, and so on.

Automic Continuous Delivery Automation (CDA) remains a separate product and is not affected by the introduction of Automic Automation.
