Windows Agent - File Transfer Support

When defining a Windows File Transfers (JOBF) object, you can specify additional Windows-specific file attributes and file formatting options for the destination file. You specify them in the Destination Settings > File Attributes field on the File Transfer page of the object definition. You can specify several OS attributes and options, separating them with commas.

If you select the Keep Original File Attributes in the Transfer Settings section AND you specify File Attributes in the Destination Settings section, the attributes that you have specified for the destination overwrite the original ones. If you have specified new file attributes, these attributes are added to those already available in the original file.

If the source file has been created in an operating system other than Windows, you may have to modify its format. You have the following options:

Destination File Formatting

If you are defining a File Transfer object that should transfer a Windows file to a different target system, you may need to modify how line breaks are formatted. Use nl (insert new line) for this purpose.
