Versions and Release Notes

All available versions and release notes of Action Packs are now visible and can be downloaded from the Packs list in the Administration perspective.

The authentication to download a Pack has been removed, but some Packs are restricted and can only be installed/updated from a file.

Action Pack Format

Action Packs can be imported and exported in two different formats: .xml (old, compatible with former versions of CDA) and .json (new, compatible with v12.3 and higher). You can define which format to use in the PACKS_COMPATIBILITY_MODE parameter of the UC_CLIENT_SETTINGS (Plugin Manager) or by adding the corresponding option in the apm download command (Package Manager).

Administering the Plugin Manager

Pack Categories

Packs, Action Packs and Application Packs are classified into categories, which help users identify their purpose. The category of a Pack is displayed in the Packs view of the Administration perspective.

Executions

You can now stop executions that prevent Action Packs from being updated.

Filters

A new filter has been added to list only installed/outdated Action Packs.

Dependencies

There is a new option to ignore dependencies when installing/updating/removing Action Packs.

Jump to Source

You can right-click a Pack and select Jump to source to see/edit the objects that are contained in the Pack.
