Agent Groups (HOSTG)

Agent Groups are also objects, this is why administrator users create them in the Process Assembly perspective. After creating an Agent Group, you maintain and work with it in the Administration perspective and monitor the tasks executed by its individual Agents in the Process Monitoring perspective.

Agent Groups are powerful tools for distributing workload and files and for monitoring. You create them in the same way as any other object by adding it to the Objects list and defining its properties. When defining other objects (a Workflow with many tasks, for example) you can then assign them to the Agent Group, thus distributing the execution of its tasks according to the group definitions.
