Forecasting
As your tasks are organized mainly in Schedule and Workflow objects, it is important to have the time and duration of the task executions displayed centrally. Both forecasts and autoforecasts can be created manually or using scripts.
Forecasts can be created for objects and tasks. They predict the expected execution times and the estimated runtime of executable objects and tasks respectively. The Forecasts page in the Process Monitoring perspective displays the results of your calculations.
Autoforecasts give you a preview of future activities within a certain time frame in your system. This information is available in the Autoforecast page in the Process Monitoring perspective and can be used to plan a system maintenance window.
You can also carry out forecast and autoforecast calculations using the Automation Engine REST API. For more information, see AE REST API - Forecasting.
The Agent Slots page in the Process Monitoring perspective allows you to search for periods of time in which the agents are idle. You can use this information, for example, to plan and carry out an agent upgrade.
