Creating and Configuring Objects
As a designer, if you want to create and configure remediation Workflows from scratch, you must create and configure the objects that you want to include in the Workflow first.
Processes in Automic Intelligent Remediation are combinations of individual steps that are linked to each other. An object represents one of these steps. Objects are entities that work together to form coherent automated sequences. As an object designer, you create, edit and work with them in the Process Assembly perspective. Objects that are executing or have been executed are called tasks and they are visible in the Process Monitoring perspective, where you can access their history and monitors.
Configuring an object means configuring its properties on its definition pages. Some pages are always available to all types of objects, such as General or Version Management. Others are available to many object types, such as Attributes or Variables and Prompts.
In addition, each object type has a definition page that is specific to its object type or to the Agent that processes its logic.
