Script Elements for User Interaction and User Data
These script elements let you provide information to users, collect input from users or retrieve data about users.
User Data
The following script elements retrieve user data.

IS_GROUP_MEMBER
Checks whether the user is a member of a user group -
SYS_ACT_CLIENT, SYS_USER_CLIENT
Returns the number of the current client or the client that the user who started the task is using -
SYS_ACT_CLIENT_TEXT
Returns the title of the client -
SYS_USER_ALIVE
Checks whether a user is logged in to the system -
SYS_USER_DEP
Returns the deaprtment of the user who started the task -
SYS_USER_LNAME
Returns the first and last name of the user who started the task -
SYS_USER_NAME
Returns the name of the user who started the task
User Dialogs
The following script elements let you define dialogs to query users.

:BEGINREAD... :ENDREAD
Defines the beginning and end of a dialog box for user queries -
:PRINT
Writes text to a dialog for user queries or to the activation report -
:READ
Queries the user in a dialog
Send Emails and Messages
The following script elements let you send messages to users.

Sends a message to a user who is logged in to the Automic Automation system -
SEND_MAIL
Sends an email to a user
Notifications
The following script elements modify object attributes that concern notifications.

Adds recipients to a notification at runtime -
:PUT_ATT_APPEND
Extends the notification message text at runtime -
:REMOVE_ATT
Removes recipients of a notification at runtime -
GET_ATT_SUBSTR
Returns part of the message text in a notification
