Persisting User Settings in the Process Monitoring Perspective
The Automic Web Interface persists the following user settings in the Process Monitoring perspective:
Task List View
The title bar beneath the menu bar in the Process Monitoring perspective contains two buttons that let you switch between the two available list views, the list view and the hierarchical view. When you open the list of tasks for the first time, the list view is displayed by default.
If you change the view from list to hierarchical or vice versa, then leave the view and come back later, the list is laid out just as you left it. If you share this list with other users, the list opens to the view that you have selected. This configuration is stored in your user settings and it is also reflected in the URL.
Workflow Monitor View
The Workflow monitor default view is the hierarchical (list) view, where you can see the Workflow and its children in a hierarchical list. You switch from this view to the critical path or to the graphical view using the toolbar buttons.
The last view that you have opened is persisted and reflected in the Workflow monitor URL. This means that next time that you open or navigate back to the Workflow monitor, the Automic Web Interface remembers your view settings and opens the monitor to the last view that you have selected.
