What's New in Version 26
Welcome to Automic Automation version 26. This major release represents a significant milestone in Broadcom's commitment to delivering a unified, powerful automation experience across all deployment models.
Automic Automation Version 26 delivers a governed, vendor-agnostic environment for orchestrating Agentic AI and modern DataOps workloads across hybrid cloud infrastructures.
Historically, enterprise automation has been constrained by IT bottlenecks, requiring specialized skills to deploy complex Workflows.
Automic Automation Version 26 removes these technical barriers to entry. By utilizing an Intelligent Control Plane, the platform provides the rigorous, policy-bounded framework needed for a broader set of non-expert Automation Builders to safely design and execute operational work without compromising mission-critical stability.
At a fundamental level, Automic Automation Version 26 places AI at the foundation of the platform so users can do the practical work faster—generating scripts and Workflows, analyzing Jobs, understanding failures, and accelerating troubleshooting.
A Unified Path for On-Premises and SaaS
In our recent release cycle, we introduced several innovative features and enhancements, including the AI-powered Intelligent Assistant and a modernized Automic Web Interface through versions 24.5.0 and 24.6.0. To ensure our Automic SaaS received these benefits as quickly as possible, those versions were released exclusively for the SaaS environment.
With the launch of version 26, we are bringing these advancements to our entire community. Version 26 serves as the convergence point where the specialized features of the 24.x SaaS releases are integrated into a single, robust version available for both on-premises and SaaS customers.
