Session Log

The Session log of a User provides information on all the sessions of a user in chronological order. Automic Automation starts recording the Session log as soon as the User logs into the system and stops when they log off. The Session Log list shows all login attempts and, in case of failed logins, the reasons why they failed.

As an administrator, you can configure the behavior of this logging function in the UC_STATISTIC_OPTIONS variable, see UC_STATISTIC_OPTIONS - Controlling the Statistics Functions.

To Access the Session Log List

  1. In the Administration perspective click User Management on the left navigation pane.
  2. Select Users.
  3. Right-click one or more users and select Session Log.
  4. The Session Log list provides information on the following:

    • User name

    • Session start

      Date/time on which the user logged on into the system.

    • Session end

      Date/time on which the user logged off.

    • Status

    • Message

      Additional information that describes the reason for the error.
