Opening the SYNC Monitor

The Open Sync Monitor function is available for SYNC objects only. It allows you to see the tasks that are affected by a particular SYNC object.

Sync objects synchronize tasks. They contain definitions on status, conditions and actions that are combined to specify the order in which tasks will be executed. The dependencies defined in Sync object can result in tasks not being processed because they are waiting for the conditions to be met.

The SYNC Monitor is available in the Process Monitoring perspective. You can also open it from the Process Assembly to check how a Sync object is affecting the processing of existing tasks. This helps you make decisions in terms of which objects you should assign it to and what settings are necessary.

To Open the Sync Monitor

In the Process Assembly perspective select a Sync object and right-click to select Monitoring > Open Sync Monitor.
The Process Monitoring perspective opens displaying the list of tasks currently using it.
