ServiceManager Configuration
Welcome to the ServiceManager Configuration Guide. The ServiceManager is an administrative component in Automic Automation that allows you to centrally start, stop, and monitor your Automation Engine processes and distributed Agents from a single, unified interface.
Rather than logging into dozens of individual servers to manage background services manually, configuring the ServiceManager gives your operations team a reliable command center. This drastically reduces administrative overhead, speeds up troubleshooting during outages, and ensures that critical automation components can be restarted automatically if they fail.
