To ensure uninterrupted task execution, reliable communication, and peak workload performance, you must verify that your Agents are fully compatible with both your targeted target platforms and the central Automation Engine.

Call APIs empower you to seamlessly trigger Automic Automation processes directly from external systems, custom scripts, and third-party applications. To guarantee that these external triggers fire reliably and communicate securely with your Automation Engine, each Call API utility must be fully compatible with the host operating system or application where it is executed.

Automic Automation Kubernetes Edition currently only supports PostgreSQL and Oracle


PostgreSQL is not supported with AE on AIX.

We recommend to use the database client from version 19c which is also compatible with all supported Oracle versions below.
