Dollar Universe Customization

These variables can be found in UniViewer Console > Administration mode > Dollar Universe node > Node Settings (described in UniViewer Console online help or in UniViewer User Guide)

Dollar Universe was configured according to the following node parameters:

S_TIMEOUT Default time-out (seconds)	Time out for TCP connections to the Dollar Universe server for clients (except UVC).	0 = unlimited
UXMAXFD Maximum number of file descriptors	Maximum number of file descriptors (files + sockets) that a process can open simultaneously=256.	0 = keep system value
UNI_CACHE_INIT_XNAMES Cache: initialization for object names	Loading data into the memory for performance optimization. Increase the value for a large number of objects.
U_IO_THREADPOOL_MIN IO thread pool: minimum thread count	The thread pool limit can be adjusted if needed (Ex: A large number of clients). Technical support can provide the recommended values.
U_IO_THREADPOOL_MAX IO thread pool: maximum threads count	The thread pool limit can be adjusted if needed (Ex: A large number of clients). Technical support can provide the recommended values.
U_CDJ_NBJOB_INIT Primary memory allocation for Runs in CDJ	Initial table dimension in number of Job Runs=1000. This setting can be modified to adjust CDJ server memory consumption. Technical support can provide the recommended values.	1000
U_CDJ_NBJOB_ADD Reallocation for Runs in CDJ	No. of Job Runs for each increment to the table=200. This setting can be modified to adjust CDJ server memory consumption. Technical support can provide the recommended values.	200
U_UVMS_TIMEOUT Timeout for connections to UVMS (seconds)	Timeout used when connecting to UVMS for synchronization requests. Technical support can provide the recommended values.	15
