This section describes actions that are commonly used in object lists.
Refresh
Reloads the content of the list.
New
Opens a window to create a new object. All fields are open for modification.
Display
Select a line from the list and click Display to display the characteristics of the object selected. Nothing can be modified.
Update
Select a line from the list and click Update to modify the characteristics of the object selected. Some fields can be modified.
Duplicate
Select a line from the list and click Duplicate to copy the selected object to a new one changing its name. This action opens the New / Update window of the object. All the characteristics can be changed.
Select one or more lines from the list and click Delete to remove the selected objects. A confirmation window appears:
In some Univiewer lists, the user can select one or several objects and add them to a Package.
The option is available in the Tools group of the toolbar. It is called Add to package...
Select one or more objects and click Add to package… This option displays a wizard.
Add <object> to package: Select one of the following, then click Next.
Select associated object: Depending on the selected object, dependent objects may be displayed:

Set Conflict Policy: For each object, the user can define a conflict policy when deploying the package. There is a conflict if an object with the same name exists and it doesn’t come from the same package or was edited manually. In this case the conflict policy is defined in the package:

For each object:
You can export all the lists displayed in Univiewer and copy them to an external application. This application must handle the pasting of CSV text (for example, Microsoft Excel or Open Office).
The column titles are always imported with the data.
The limit of the export to clipboard function is under 2000 records.
For UniJob Only
This mass copy option is accessible in the Tools menu and enables one or more objects of the same Type to be copied in one action to multiple Nodes.
The sequence is as follows:
If the “Unselect All” button is not activated, the previous filter selection will be combined with the current filter selection.
Exceptions
Do not create a user service: Creation of a Windows service may not be necessary because either the Windows service already exists or it will be created manually or it is not necessary (interactive Jobs). No user service will be created in any case.
Run as local system user: The submission account will be localsystem.
Run as: The user account specified must exist on the system and a valid password must be supplied. By default, the submission account will be the same as the Windows service name. The user must then choose on which nodes the object will be pasted: Apply only to this node or to all nodes for this submission account

If an object is copy/pasted when a dependent object is absent from the destination Node, the copy of the object in question will end in error.
Position the cursor over the error field to display the error message with the name of the missing object. Copy/paste the missing object then click Retry to re-execute the initial Copy/paste.
