From Task or Session / From Uproc
Select the right option:
Apply On
An exception can be carried out on launches of a Managing Unit or of a Management Unit Type.
MU/ MU Type
Mandatory, enter the name of the Management Unit / Management Unit Type of the intercepted launch or *.
Task
Only the main tasks appear in the drop-down list: an exception can not be created on a specific task. If the exception should apply on a task, enter the name of the task or *. If the exception should not apply on a task, leave this field empty.
Task MU
If a task has been selected, this field displays the Task's Management Unit, or you can select the Task MU on which the exception should be placed. The Task's Management Unit may differ from the launch's Management Unit in the case of a session if a specific management unit or HDP was defined, as with an optional or provoked task.
Session
If the exception should apply on a session, enter the name of the session or *. If the exception should not apply on a session, leave it empty.
Version

Exception Type
This is the action applied on the intercepted launch(es). Refer to the section: "Exceptions".
Generate event
Check the box to generate a job event even if the execution has not occurred (jump execution only).
Time Window
Check the box to define the exception for a launch window then enter the two dates / times below:
No processing date
Exceptions are valid only for jobs that do not have a processing date.
Any processing date
Exceptions are valid regardless of the processing date of the job.
Specific processing date
Exceptions are valid for a specific processing date. Select this option, then enter the date in the adjoining filed or click on to select it from the calendar.
Max counter
Check the box and enter an “x” value to apply the exception to “x” launches. Beyond that, the exception will no longer be applied even if the time window is valid or even if the processing date is still valid.
Be aware that the default value "1" may be inappropriate if a wildcard has been entered in the General section. In that case, only the first selected launch, matching the criteria, will be intercepted.
These fields are displayed for information only. Nothing can be entered.
Session number
If the exception was created from a job execution document, the Session number is displayed in this field, if the exception applies to a Session. If not, it’s empty.
Launch number
If the exception was created from the Job Run document, the Launch number is displayed in this field. If not, it’s empty.
