Introduction

Welcome to the Univiewer User Guide! Univiewer is a graphical user interface common to all Dollar Universe scheduling products.

Univiewer provides a comprehensive user interface to Dollar Universe Application Servers. Dollar Universe operators, developers and administrators can manage their Dollar Universe environment, create scheduling parameters (Uproc, Sessions, Tasks, etc.), deploy their settings and control the production from a unique interface. The Univiewer is also used for Reporter and the Managers.

This guide addresses the needs of anyone who uses the Univiewer interface including:

• Administrators who to administer a Dollar Universe environment.
• Developers who create and deploy scheduling objects (Uprocs, Sessions, Tasks, etc.). 
• Operators who monitor production.

This guide also describes the standard functions of the Univiewer Console (UVC) graphical user interface. It details the use of the UVC for management of the Univiewer Management Server (UVMS) and attached nodes.

Details concerning the use of Univiewer with Dollar Universe managers and Reporter are provided in the respective user guides and in the Univiewer online help.
