Name
The name of the trigger.
Label
Trigger description. The label can be updated at any time while updating or duplicating a trigger.
Enabled
The enabled option is selected by default. If this option is unselected the trigger is disabled. A disabled trigger is ignored when an event is received by Dollar Universe and the associated task is not launched.
Source
Select the event source from the drop-down menu.
Type
Enter the name of the event type on the external system. If the SAP Job option is selected, the event type is _SAPJOB.
An event cannot be processed during an online purge. If an event is received, it is placed on hold and it is processed once the purge has completed.
This section is displayed if the option Custom Event was selected in the Source section. An event property is a specification about the incoming event from an external system. The properties are entered as variables with associated values (file name, file size, server…).
Click Add to add a property.
To update a property, select it from the list and click Update.
To remove a property, select it from the list click Delete. The property will be removed after confirmation.
Name
The name of the event property
Only the characters A-Z, a-z, 0-9 and _are permitted in event property names. The name cannot start with a number.
Expected value
The expected value for the event property. The trigger is launched only if the given property value matches the expected value. If there are several event properties, all event properties must be received.
This section is displayed if the option SAP Job is selected in the Source section. The SAP job properties are filled in by default. All the properties must be verified for the trigger to run the associated task.
Job Name
Name of the SAP job
User
Name of the SAP user
User Group
The user group of the SAP user
Status
The trigger will launch a task in Dollar Universe if the SAP job has any of the selected statuses: Aborted, Running, Preliminary, Finished and Scheduled.
Task
Select the task associated to the trigger. When an event notification is received from an external system that matches the event details in a trigger, the task associated with the trigger is launched.
Only provoked tasks can be associated with triggers. If a simulated task is triggered, the created job is disabled. If a disabled task is triggered, no job is run.
MU
The Management Unit of the task. This field is filled automatically when the task is selected.
Template task
The box is checked if the selected provoked task is a template.
Duration
Launch window of the task. Minimum: 0 hours and 0 minutes. Maximum: 999 for hours and 59 for minutes. Default is 0 hours and 5 minutes.
Transmit the properties to the launched task
If this option is selected, the properties and the event type are transmitted to the task when the trigger is launched via inheritance variables. The variable names refer to the event properties specified when the trigger is created. (Example: File_size: 2KB) The variables and variable values are displayed in the job log of the launched task.
For SAP job type events, the possible job properties are: SAPJOB_NAME, SAPJOB_STATUS, SAPJOB_GROUP, SAP_JOBUSER, SAPJOB_JOBCOUNT. The property SAPJOB_GROUP is not transmitted. However the property SAPJOB_JOBCOUNT is transmitted.
