Breadcrumbs can be shown or hidden. Refer to section: "Breadcrumb".
Within a tab, you can access a list of several sub-documents (such as the object details):
When an action opens a document, any child documents that already exist in the breadcrumb are closed and replaced by the new document. However, if there is a document being edited with unsaved changes, then a warning message is displayed.
Example 1: The user opens the Targets list; he selects the "LOCAL" target and clicks Update. The target details are opened in the same tab. The following breadcrumbs are displayed:
Target List on saturn > Target LOCAL on saturn
("saturn" is the Node name)
The inactive document is grayed.
If the user selects "Target List on saturn", he returns to this list but the sub-document is not closed. The following breadcrumbs are displayed:
Target List on saturn > Target LOCAL on saturn
If the user selects the "TEST" target and clicks Update, the following breadcrumbs are displayed:
Target List on saturn > Target TEST on saturn
The document "Target LOCAL on Saturn" is closed and the document "Target TEST on saturn" is displayed.
Example 2: the user opens the Job Runs list.
Job Runs on saturn
("saturn" is the Node name)
He selects one Job: "TEST" and clicks Display:
Job Runs on saturn > Run TEST on saturn
He opens the Job log:
Job Runs on saturn > Run TEST on saturn > Job Log for TEST
He returns on the Job details:
Job Runs on saturn > Run TEST on saturn > Job Log for TEST
He opens the history trace:
Job Runs on saturn > Run TEST on saturn > History Trace for TEST
Etc.
With the breadcrumbs, the user is able to move forward and backward. If it is too long, the breadcrumb will be displayed on several lines.
