Login Details

This section describes the UVC user account characteristics.

Certain fields are not modifiable depending on the action selected. Do not forget to click Save to keep your login information.

General

• Login

  Enter the login ID.

• Label

  Enter the login description.

• Password

  Enter its password.

  The login and password can only contain the following characters: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789!#&'()+,-.:;>=<?@[]_{|}~

• Password (confirm)

  Re-type the password to confirm.

• Type

  “Internal” if the user is manually created or “LDAP” if it is automatically created by LDAP.

In the case a LDAP-type of user is created, the password is not handled by UVMS. Those last two fields do not appear.

Group

A user account can be associated with one or more groups (the groups are composed of roles).

This list shows all existing groups. Check the box in front of the groups the user should belong to.

The Select All and Select None buttons allow you to check / clear all boxes.
