The system user patterns are used to control permissions of the user running a command (interactive or batch). A user must be declared in this list in order to execute a Dollar Universe V6 command.
The user pattern created by default during the installation gives the "Operators" group permissions to all system users.
User patterns belong to groups; themselves are linked to roles that give users permissions on products data and functions.
The system user patterns are stored on UVMS. Permissions obtained by the groups/roles associated are sent to the target node during synchronization between the node and UVMS. They are displayed in the document "View Permissions".
