This command is used to export user preferences stored on Univiewer Management Server into XML format files. These XML files can be copied to a workstation to serve as local user preferences, but they only contain the preferences of a single user.
Syntax:
uniexp USERPREF -bookmarksfile <val> -login <val> -settingsfile <val> [-help]
-bookmarksfile <val>
Mandatory. Full name of the file that will contain bookmarks of the specified login. The file is written in XML format.
-help
Optional. Displays the command online help
-login <val>
Mandatory. Login user account name to UVC.
-settingsfile <val>
Mandatory. Full name of the file that will contain administration mode user preferences and lists filters of the specified login. The file is written in XML format.
If a file already exists, the command ends in error.
Example:
uniexp USERPREF -login John -bookmarksfile "C:\temp\bookmarks.xml" -settingsfile "C:\temp\settings.xml"
Settings successfully exported for user "John"
