This command updates the local UVMS with the user logins of the remote UVMS Node.
Syntax:
unisync LOGIN –host <val> -login <val> -port <val> -pwd <val> [-delete] [-help] [-override]
-delete
Optional. Deletes the local Login if it doesn't exist on the reference UVMS
-help
Optional. Displays the command online help
-host <val>
Mandatory. Reference UVMS hostname
-login <val>
Mandatory. Login for connecting to the reference UVMS
-override
Optional. Updates the Login if it already exists
-port <val>
Mandatory. Reference UVMS port number
-pwd <val>
Mandatory. Login password for connecting to the reference UVMS
A Login is only created on the local UVMS if it exists on the remote Univiewer Management Server and doesn't exist on the local Univiewer Management Server.
A Login is only overwritten on the local Univiewer Management Server if it exists on the remote Univiewer Management Server and if the "-override" parameter is used.
A Login is only removed from the local UVMS if it doesn't exist on the remote UVMS and if the "-delete" parameter is used.
If the local UVMS node is NOT LDAP enabled:
If the local UVMS node IS LDAP enabled:
The link between Logins and Groups is not synchronized by the command unisync LOGIN. However, if a Login is removed ("-delete" parameter is used) all links between the Login and any Groups will be removed as well.
