Defining Common Job Properties

In Automic Automation, in addition to the Agent-specific parameters, you can also specify optional job properties. You do so on the following definition pages:

• Standard pages that are always available, no matter what type of object you are defining:

  • General Page
  • Version Management Page
  • Documentation Page

• Additional pages that are always available for executable objects:

  • Process Pages
  • Attributes Page
  • Output Pages
  • Variables Page
  • Prompt Sets Page
  • Rollback Page

The Process Pages and the Pre-Process Pages allow you to add Email-specific script statements which allow you to set certain attributes. These statements are processed before the Schedule Job is executed, see Email Jobs: Setting Job Properties Through Scripts.
