Defining Set Permissions Operations for HDFS Jobs

To set permissions for an HDFS file, select Set Permissions in the Operation field for an HDFS Job and respond to the fields on the bottom of the screen.

  • HDFS File

    • The file or directory to set permissions for. You can use the folder icon to browse to the file.

  • Permissions

    • The UNIX permissions for the Job.
