Creating an Import Database Data from SQL Job

This Job type imports database data from SQL in a database.

IMPORT_DATABASE_DATA_FROM_SQL Job

• Connection

The RA Hyperion ESSBASE Agent Connection object

• Application

The Hyperion ESSBASE application.

• Database

The Hyperion ESSBASE database.

• SQL connection

An existing RA Hyperion ESSBASE Agent SQL Connection object with the credentials needed to connect to the Hyperion database.

• Rules File

The Hyperion ESSBASE rules file.

Job Output

If the action returns 0, Execution of ImportDatabaseDataFromSQLAction succeeded appears in the report. Otherwise, an error message is posted in the report and the error message returned by Oracle ESSBASE is displayed in the W1 log. In the report, you can also see the passed options.
