Defining Query Parameters for RA Web Service REST Agent Connection Objects

You can add query parameters to RA Web Service REST Agent Connection objects. When you define a new RA Web Service REST Agent Job using a Connection object with query parameters defined, Jobs that use this Connection object will include them. It is also possible to add additional query parameters to Job definitions, or choose to only use query parameters in Job definitions.

Adding Query Parameters

To add a query parameter to an RA Web Service REST Agent Connection object:

1. In the Query Parameters section of the Web Service page of an RA Web Service REST Agent Job, click in the Parameter column for the selected row and enter a query parameter name.
2. Enter the value in the Value column.

The value column allows Automation Engine variables and the replacement values below.

User field for Connection objects with Basic, Digest, or NTLM authentication.
• {password}
Password field for Connection objects with Basic, Digest, or NTLM authentication.
• {client_key}
Client Key field for Connection objects with OAuth 1.0a or OAuth 2.0 authentication.
• {client_secret}
Client Secret field for Connection objects with OAuth 1.0a or OAuth 2.0 authentication.
• {authorization_token}
Authorization Token field for Connection objects with OAuth 1.0a or OAuth 2.0 authentication.
• {token_secret}
Token Secret field for Connection objects with OAuth 1.0a authentication.
• {access_key}
Access Key field for Connection objects with AWS Signed URL authentication.
• {secret_access_key}
Secret Access Key field for Connection objects with AWS Signed URL authentication.
• {verifier}
Verifier field for Connection objects with OAuth 1.0a authentication.
