The RestartPlus Program Product is maintained by a team of experienced systems support professionals who are trained in the internal operation of the product.
If a problem occurs with this Program Product, you should check to ensure that the error is actually in the product itself and not in the operating system interfaces (such as the Job Control Language, etc.). Then you should check that the various data inputs are valid (such as the correct type of input files, control statements, etc.). After both these areas have been checked, if no error has been detected, contact our Support team. However, before calling ensure that you have the following documentation for the RestartPlus analyst:
- The JCL listing for the failing job.
- The options generated by your installation when the Program Product was installed.
- The type, release, and PUT level of your operating system.
- Any diagnostic data produced by either the Program Product or the operating system (e.g., Warning messages, snap dump, SVC DUMP or SYSUDUMP, etc.).
