Dashboard Tab Panels
The Dashboard Panel provides monitoring capability at the Business Area level with the ability to drill down to the jobstreams. The display will show how many jobstreams are Early, Late, On Time, or Not Predicted to Finish (NPTF).
Although one jobstream can exist in several Business Areas Automic Automation Intelligence will only count it once.
The individually tabbed panels are divided into three sections:
-
The top section displays the Business Area currently being shown, the filter applied, and the last run. The last run is the jobstream that will finish last in the selected time period.
-
The middle section displays three bar graphs, one for Completed, Running, and Forecasted jobstream runs. Each graph is scaled independently. The bars consist of the following statuses: Early, On Time, Late, and NPTF (Not Predicted to Finish).
-
The bottom section is a table displaying the number of jobstreams that are Completed, Running and/or Forecasted to run for each Business Area defined to Automic Automation Intelligence.
Hyperlinks are included in the table of Business Areas so users can drill down into Business Areas and down to the jobstream level.
-
Business Area Drill Down: The default view displays the top-level Business Area (All Jobstreams) and any Business Areas that have been defined directly under All Jobstreams. By selecting a Business Area to drill down into, the table then shows the selected Business Area as the new top-level Business Area. If the selected Business Area has any Business Areas under it, they will also be displayed.
-
Jobstream Drill Down: Drilling down into a number of jobstreams automatically creates a new tab in the Monitoring Panel filtered by that same criteria. A dialog is displayed with a preset tab name (also reflecting the filter criteria) which can be overwritten.
The display defaults to a single tab called Today’s Runs showing all jobstreams; Completed, Running, and Forecasted. There will always be a new tab to the right of the last tab on the panel which allows the user to create another view. When the new tab control is selected, a dialog will be displayed so the user can enter a name.
