AutoSys-Specific Menu Options

Depending on the settings and the user permissions, the pop-up menu also displays the following menu options:

  • WCC Integration

  • Create Send Event

WCC Integration

Note:

The WCC Integration only supports WCC version R11.1 or earlier.

By default, the CA Workload Control Center (WCC) integration is disabled. To setup the integration with WCC, refer to the WCC Configuration Guide.

To edit WCC you can enable the WCC Integration in the Configuration Tool manually. To do so:

  1. Open the Configuration Tool and open the Params tab.

  2. Select Show less commonly configured.

  3. Locate the client.wccServerIntegrationEnabled parameter and change it to true.

  4. Apply your changes.

Once the integration is set up, right-click any job or box to open the pop-up menu and access the WCC links options:

  • Open WCC Quick View: Opens the Quick View in WCC and displays the selected job.

  • Open WCC Send Event View: Opens the Send Event View in WCC with the selected job.

  • WCC Info: Displays the URLs for the Quick View and Send Event View.

If WCC is not available or if AAI is not registered, a warning message box is displayed. To register AAI with WCC, contact your WCC administrator.

Create Send Events

Send Events are actions performed against jobs directly on the scheduler. For more information, please refer to the AutoSys User Guide.

If you have the necessary permissions, the Send Events available for a particular job are available on the pop-up menu options either the real-time Gantt chart or the Critical Path Analysis Gantt chart.

If you also have the necessary permissions in AutoSys, the Send Event is executed on the appropriate scheduler.
