Exporting Table Data

Many views allow you to export the data that you have filtered and are viewing currently. Having this real-time data snapshot of your system's activities in a sharable CSV file is highly useful in many different scenarios, for example:

  • You can provide data to third-party tools or for further data processing by feeding the CSV file data to those tools and processes.

  • You can produce a snapshots of analysis data or jobstream activity and performance at any point in time which can be used as a quickly produced report.

  • You can share your observations and discoveries about analysis data or specific jobstream performance with your teams, your superior or other internal and external stakeholders.

  • You can use the real-time data captured to rally your support teams to problem solve potential or real SLA breaches.

To use this function, click the Export button located at the far right above the table headers. This produces a CSV file that you can find in your Downloads folder. The file contains the data that is included in the table and as it is configured when you export. That means:

  • If you have applied filters, only the filtered rows are exported to the CSV file.

  • If you have sorted the table, the data is exported in the same sort order.

  • If you have hidden columns, only the data for columns that you selected to show are exported.

  • If you have rearranged columns, the data is exported in the same column sequence.
