Property Access Policy

Class: Property

Description: This access policy manages the policies associated with Adding/Editing/Deleting/Maintaining AAI properties, which are configuration parameters that affect the way the AAI Server runs. These properties are currently exposed and updated by the import/export tool. They are also exposed via the Configuration Tool and are otherwise outside the control of this security mechanism. For more information, see Configuration Tool.

Resource: The property name, such as pollingInterval.

• Action: add 

  If this action is not allowed for a particular user for a particular domain, they will not be able to add properties when using the import tool.

• Action: view 

  If this action is not allowed for a particular user for a particular property, the property will not appear in the export file produced by the export tool.

• Action: edit 

  If this action is not allowed for a particular user for a particular property, they will not be able to update the value of the property when running the import tool.

• Action: delete 

  If this action is not allowed for a particular user for a particular property, they will not be able to delete the property when running the import tool.
