Release Notes 6.5.4-1

This topic provides information about the new features and enhancements, bug fixes, and database changes that have been implemented in this version of AAI as well as enhancements and bug fixes that are connector-specific.

Enhancements

The following are the enhancements from 6.5.4 to 6.5.4-1.

  • Improved session management processing to clear idle user sessions more frequently so as to prevent performance issues and remove clutter from the Active Sessions list on the WebUI.

  • Enhanced the calculation of jobstream Optimization ranking to better reflect the impact of job runs.

  • Enhanced the jobstream Optimization calculation function to improve performance by using pre-calculated trend data.

Bug Fixes

The following are the bug fixes from 6.5.4 to 6.5.4-1.

General

This AAI release includes the following general fix:

  • Fixed an issue when using the latest AdoptOpenJDK, which was not recognized due to its rebranding to Adoptium OpenJDK Temurin, that threw an erroneous message in the jaws.log file: WARN  [JavaVersionUtil] !!!!! Java vendor Temurin is unsupported.

  • Fixed an issue with excessive memory consumption by optimizing the AAI prediction algorithm.

  • Fixed an issue that caused Airflow jobstreams that were scheduled with a Delta Interval to skip every other forecast.

Web UI v2

This AAI release includes the following bug fixes related to AAI's next generation Web UI:

  • Fixed an issue with simulated runs on the Jobstream Runs - Grid view so that clicking the start time link for a simulated run opens the Gantt view of that simulated run, as expected.

  • Fixed an issue to ensure that only admin users (JAWS or eEM) can start a thread dump from Web UI Systems page.

  • Fixed an issue on the Jobstream Runs - Grid view that was clearing the list when sorting by SLA time.

  • Fixed an issue to ensure that exported jobstream selections of the Exceeded SLA alert type and/or Is critical jobstream option are retained with import.

  • Fixed an issue on the graph of the Processing Load data insight to ensure that correct number of jobs running are depicted at all zoom levels down to the lowest level of 5-minute time intervals.
