Jobstream Administration
The jobstream is the central structure in AAI for tracking and monitoring executions of your critical business processes.
A jobstream is a container of jobs that run together in a process that ends in the execution of a target job. The target job defines the jobstream because it is the final milestone of a process that you want to track and monitor, in particular to ensure that each run of the process not only completes but also completes within its deadline, which is defined by the SLA for the jobstream run.
For more information, see Jobstreams.
As soon as AAI and all its components are installed and fully functional, business area coordinators and jobstream administrators work closely together to define the initial details of new jobstreams, fine-tune those definitions, analyze them and, if necessary, adjust them to gain efficiency and predictability.
