System Upgrade

The System upgrade page of the Administration perspective provides a wizard for the Zero Downtime Upgrade (ZDU).

The System Upgrade page is only available in client 0000.

As recommended with all system upgrades be sure to first do a test upgrade in your testing system.

Overview

This page is in itself a wizard.

The Automic Zero Downtime Upgrade (ZDU) as of v12 of AWA can be conducted using this wizard.

Where to find the page:

You have access to theAdministration Perspective only if your user definition has the required privileges.

In the AWI open the Administration perspective.
In the Navigation pane on the left find the System Upgrade tab.
Click it to open the System Upgrade page.

What you can do:

You can use the Run System Upgrade Wizard button at the bottom of the page.

Afterward the Zero Downtime Upgrade will start, if all other requirements are fulfilled. The ZDU is done by using a wizard guiding you through all the necessary steps.

You need the required permissions in the respective User object to be able to start or continue a ZDU.
